The Captain America: Brave New World trailer focuses on the dynamic between Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross. It even pulls an Iron Man 2 and addresses the fact that Ross looks different. Between all the quips, though, the first look showcases how the new Captain America is still trying to find his place in the world following the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Standing in his way will be Giancarlo Esposito’s mystery villain, who pops up a couple times in the trailer, and The Leader, who was notably abscent from the first look outside of a line of dialogue and a brief shot from behind. His prescence is still felt, however, as the tag shows off the Red Hulk. Of course, in the comics, Ross turns himself into a giant monster to battle Bruce Banner, but this time around, he’s taking on Captain America for unknown reasons.

Fighting a Hulk is no easy feat, but Captain America will have help in the form of the new Falcon, Joaquín Torres, played by Danny Ramirez, and Isaiah Bradley, played by Carl Lumbly. However, it doesn’t appear Bucky will be by Sam’s side this time around, as he’ll be busy with the Thunderbolts.

With Deadpool & Wolverine hitting theaters this month, it’s going to be a long wait before the next Marvel Studios movie, as Brave New World isn’t releasing until February 14, 2025. However, that’s probably for the best, given the MCU’s recent track record. The powers that be need all the time they can get to get things right.

A lot of gamers have already pre-ordered the game because they want to take advanatge of the early access period, but others will wait to avoid hurting their wallets. Well, QVC is here to help those on the fence, offering a very good deal for College Football 25.

With Dynasty Mode returning and the debut of the brand-new College Ultimate Team, College Football 25 has something for everyone. But just because the game is in demand doesn’t mean people should sleep on a deal this good.

The New Shapeshifter in The Boys Season 4, Explained

The Boys catch wind of a new Supe on the scene via A-Train. Sage is meeting with them about taking out the president, and after the team scopes out the Supe’s apartment, they figure out why. The Supe is a shapeshifter who has to rip their skin off to change their appearnce. Their true identity remains a mystery, but there are some clues in Season 4, Episode 7 to at least make a guess.

There’s already been a prominent shapeshifter in The Boys, Doppelganger. However, despite Homelander using them to pull off his sexual fantasies after Madelyn Stillwell’s death, the leader of The Seven kills them, meaning they aren’t a candidate. That means it’s time to dive into The Boys comics to see whether Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson added another shapeshifter to their twisted lineup.

The only shapeshifter in the source material is Malchemical, who can not only change his appearnce but his material and density. Malchemical fix isn’t exact fit for the new shapeshifter, as he is a lot more like DC’s Metamorpho, but Prime Video’s series has been known to take creative liberties with its characters. No matter their true identity, though, answers are sure to come in the final episode of The Boys Season 4, as this new Supe has their sights set on the president and is currently impersonating Starlight.

While Metaphor: ReFantazio is up for pre-order for $69.99 on Steam and all the major retailers, Green Man Gaming is offering it for $48.29, a 31 percent discount. However, it’s important to note that the sale only applies to the Steam version of the game, meaning console users are out of luck this time around. If anyone out there needed a sign to make the leap to PC, this might be it.

Created by Studio Zero, which is a branch of Persona developer Atlus, Metaphor: ReFantazio has been in the works since 2016. It took a few years to really get the project off the ground, but it looks like it has the makings of a great role-playing game. It takes place in a medieval world and will thrust players into a fight for a kingdom after the death of its king. The protagonist will pick up allies along the way and dive headfirst into all of the fantastical elements of the world.

Metaphor: ReFantazio isn’t set to release until October 11, 2024, making the wait a long one. However, anyone who pulls the trigger on this sale will be thankful, as their wallet will be a bit heavier later in the year when all of the big releases like Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and Mario & Luigi: Brothership drop. It’s always about buying smarter, not harder.

The news come via Shonen Jump, the magazine that publishes My Hero Academia. During its latest episode of Jump Press on the official Shonen Jump YouTube channel, the publication revealed that there are five chapters left and the last will be released on August 5, 2024.

However, while Deku’s adventures on the page will be coming to an end, there’s still more to look forward to. Unlike the One Piece anime, which is adapting some of the latest chapters of the manga, My Hero Academia still has a lot to bring to the small screen.

Announced via the game’s official X account, Fortnite is teasing a new mode called Fortnite: Reload with a new map. However, not everything is new, as the POIs featured in the announcement are all from the OG map. Check out the video below:

While details about the mode are scarce, a follow-up post mentions that Reload is “A place of high energy!! And forgiveness.” That could mean a lot of things, but the words “Reload” and “forgiveness” point to the mode having some sort of respawn feature. Of course, in Battle Royale and Zero Build, when players die, they drop Reboot Cards, and it’s up to the other players in the squad to bring them back. Reload may be looking to switch things up, possibly being a more intense version of Team Rumble.

Regardless of how the mode plays, though, the biggest draw will be the return of Tilted Towers and the other POIs, which have been out of the game since the end of Fortnite OG in late 2023. It’s unclear if Reload is a permanent replacement for OG, but that seems unlikely since recent leaks point to the original map returning later this year.

Fortnite: Reload will go live on Saturday, June 22, 2024. It’s part of a major update that also includes the Pirates of the Caribbean collab, as well as the start of the summer event.

Fortnite is available to play now on various platforms, including the Meta Quest 2 and 3.

June 18’s Nintendo Direct pulled no punches, revealing a new Mario & Luigi RPG, as well as several other new games. However, even during an event that confirmed the next game in the Metroid series, the biggest announcement may have been The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, which sees Link go missing and Zelda have to fight for the fate of Hyrule. Following up massive hits like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom is no easy feat, and that’s why Nintendo is looking to change things up. The trailer for the game kicks off with a familiar scene – Zelda is captured, and Link arrives to save her. However, things take a turn when rifts start appearing around Hyrule and taking people away.

Thankfully, Hyrule has its fair share of magical creatures, and a fairy named Tri arrives to gift Zelda a staff that will help her get everyone back. Despite being a massive departure from some of the more recent games in the series, the gameplay for Echoes of Wisdom looks fun, and it will finally allow people to refer to Zelda as the main character for once.

Fans who can’t wait to play as Zelda will have a pretty short wait, as the game will arrive on Switch on September 26, 2024. Just like Mario & Luigi: Brothership, it’s likely to be the last game in the series made exclusively for the Switch. That’s why it’s a good thing a special model of the Switch Lite is being released alongside it.

June 18’s Nintendo Direct kicked off with a doozy, with a video showing Luigi running away from a swarm of bees before Mario saves him, and the two are whisked off to a new world. Check out the trailer for the game below:

As the Direct explained, Mario & Luigi: Brothership will be a “seafaring adventure” that features “mysterious islands” and “evolved Bros. Moves.” The latter seems to be an important part of the game, as the trailer features Mario pulling off a move that feels like it should be reserved for the Mario Strikers series. Of course, despite heading to new lands, the titular duo will run into some familiar faces, including Bowser and Princess Peach.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership will be the first game in the mainline series in almost a decade, with the last being Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam in 2015. That game dealt with mixed reactions, which may be partly why the series went dormant for a while, but it’s a new day, and Mario and Luigi are ready to get back into the action in a big way.

Eagers fans won’t have to wait too long for the new RPG, either, as Mario & Luigi: Brothership is set to release on November 7, 2024. It’s likely to be one of the last Mario titles to be released exclusively on the Switch before Nintendo transitions to its next console at some point in the next year.

Leaks have been circulating around the internet for a few weeks, showing deleted listings and audio that seemed to reveal that Joe Burrow would be on the cover. That started a debate online around whether the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback did enough last season to prove he’s cover athlete material. However, all the arguments were for nothing because Christian McCaffrey is the Madden 25 cover athlete.

With the Madden 25 cover now official, fans are flocking to social media to celebrate. When Burrow was the frontrunner, many were pointing out the fact that Lamar Jackson won MVP, while Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs took home the Lombardi. Sure, Jackson and Mahomes had been on the cover before, but fans felt like Travis Kelce was right there, and he was much more deserving than Burrow. Well, EA decided to go with an out-of-left-field option and give the honor to McCaffrey, making him the first running back to appear on the cover since Adrian Peterson in 2012.

With another football video game on the market, one that looks to have everything gamers have been asking for, it’ll be interesting to see whether Madden loses some of its playerbase. Getting the cover wrong wouldn’t have been the only reason people had beef with the game, but getting it right might go a long way in repairing EA’s image in the eyes of Madden players.

Heading to the link will reveal a treasure trove of discounted manga. One of the early highlights is the Vinland Saga Deluxe Manga (Hardcover). All of them are on sale, including ones that have yet to release. The Deluxe versions of Vinland Saga only started coming out recently, and with Season 3 of the anime likely coming sooner rather than later, now is the perfect time to start getting caught up.

Wind Breaker is gearing up to wrap up its first season, and much of the series is available at a discount. On June 4, actor Evangeline Lilly announced on Instagram that she was stepping away from acting. It’s not unusual for stars to take breaks, and Lilly even said she may return one day. However, it’s strange for an actor in the biggest franchise in the world to seemingly give up their part in it. Of course, Lilly plays Hope van Dyne in the Ant-Man movies, and the last film didn’t make it seem like she was going anywhere.

MCU fans don’t seem to be broken up about the news, though. In fact, they’re taking to social media to show their support for another actor, Zooey Deschanel. That may seem like an out of left field choice, but it’s not totally without merit, as Deschanel actually has history with the franchise.

While writing the first Avengers movie, Joss Whedon was looking to add some classic heroes to his lineup. One of them was Wasp, and he was eyeing the 500 Days of Summer star for the role. Obviously, that didn’t come to pass, but fans now believe the powers that be Marvel Studios have a second chance to land Deschanel.

Marvel Studios has yet to address Lilly’s decision, and it’s possible that she does return whenever Wasp is needed to fight the next Big Bad. However, it’s always fun to speculate, and fans seem to be really passionate about Deschanel and her ability to continue the story of a pretty underutilized character.

Dreaming Freedom Chapter 142 was a big one because it saw Jeongmin and Siyun reunite. Jeongmin wasn’t too happy at first, but it didn’t take long for Siyun’s suave attitude to win her over. The two ended up back at her place and got busy. However, when Jeongmin wakes up in Chapter 143, she realizes she may have messed up big time.

She enjoyed her night of passion, of course, and could barely believe the man in front of her was real the whole time. But it quickly becomes clear to her that she left her friends in the dust. Siyun doesn’t have any answers about what happened, so Jeongmin is left wondering how her friends feel. Trying to get her to stop worrying, Siyun decides to offer his lady whatever she wants to eat, but only time will tell if it makes a difference and if the couple can move on without any problems.
